Shilpa Kelkar

Doctor of Dental Medicine

Dr. Shilpa Kelkar has been practicing dentistry since 2010. She believes in compassionate care and strives to deliver the best that dentistry has to offer.

Dr. Kelkar is originally from the vibrant state of Madhya Pradesh in India. After going through a rigorous selection process, she pursued her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the Government College of Dentistry in Indore. Dr. Kelkar desired to achieve higher education and the opportunity to get exposure to clinical research brought her to the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry, where she pursued her Master of Science in Oral Biology. With a desire to bring smiles and change lives she accepted an offer to attend Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. At Boston University, she received a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with High Honors.

Her joy and passion for dentistry are a result of her exposure to dentistry through her father who was also a Dentist. She grew up seeing the amazing outcomes from simplest to most complicated dental procedures that helped people build their confidence back and have better oral health. Being an artistic person, Dr. Kelkar thoroughly enjoys the art of dentistry. The professional satisfaction that comes from dentistry’s beautiful results is the driving force for Dr. Kelkar.

She is committed to continuing education and takes many advanced courses each year to enhance her skills to serve the dental care needs of her patients better and provide them with a gentle and comfortable dental experience.
